The New Zealand High Commission in Malaysia organized a breakfast talk for the visit of Lieutenant General Tim Keating MNZM, Chief of Defence Force of the New Zealand. The Track 11 of the workshop on security and development was a program coordinated by the Ministry of Defence, Malaysian Institute of Defence and Security and the National Defence University of Malaysia. The workshop was the second track that took off after Thailand. Participants were from the ASEAN’s security institutions on defence and security. The workshop is a platform for the ASEAN nations in creating an engaging within the global implications of national security threats in the ASEAN region.

The IACSP participated in the GPEC Asia 2013 exhibition and conference in Putrajaya, Malaysia from the 2nd to the 4th of October. The IACSP had a booth together with the Defence & Security Committee of the EUMCCI where both organizations endorsed the first GPEC Asia 2013 on the international level.
